Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

The Frankston Primary School (FPS) leadership team and School Council have allocated significant resources to enhance the provision of technology at FPS. Our students enjoy a very well resourced ICT program, with class sets of iPads in Years Foundation to Grade 2 and class sets of student netbook computers in Years 3 – 6.

We also have interaction whiteboards/TV monitors in each classroom to enable access to a variety of digital platforms that support an engaging teaching program and student learning. Students use technology to solve problems, research, complete student-guided collaborative learning tasks and during literacy, numeracy, inquiry learning learning experiences and across other curriculum learning areas.

At Frankston Primary School we are very mindful about cybersafety and are constantly in the process of teaching our students about cybersafety and responsible, informed use of technology.
