Enrolment Information 2023

To enrol your child at Frankston Primary School:

  1. Please contact our school office directly for school enrolment forms.
  2. Return the completed forms, along with the required documents as outlined below, and return to our school office.

Required documents

Department of Education and Training required documentation includes:

You will also be required to provide information about:

  • your contact details
  • emergency contact details
  • health information and or medical management plans about your child (such as allergies or illnesses they need to manage)
  • other legal orders relating to your child and their welfare (if any)

School required documents includes:

  • General parent and carer consent forms

Enrolling in Grades 1 – 6

Enrolments are taken throughout the year for year levels 1 – 6. We conduct personal tours of our school – please contact the school office for further information and to schedule an appointment for a school tour.

Enrolling in Prep 2023

Prep enrolment commences in the year prior to children starting school. Children enrolling in Victorian schools must turn 5 years old by 30th April in the year of entry and are usually enrolled in the year prior to their commencement (the pre-school/kinder year).

Our School Zone

Our school zone is available on https://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au/#school=1146401 which hosts the most up-to-date information about Frankston Primary School and Victorian school zones.

Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

Our school also has additional capacity available to welcome students who are outside of our school zone. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.

The Department provides guidance through the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.
