Extra Curricular Activities
Frankston Primary School has a range of activities or programs offered to enhance students’ experiences at school. Some of the extra-curricular activities include, but are not limited to:
Lunchtime Activities
Lunchtime activities run three through different weeks by our teachers with the aim of providing alternate lunchtime play options for our students. Options vary throughout the year and can include activities such as structured sports activities, quiet inside time such as reading in the library, board games, computer learning programs, gardening club, veggie garden and orchard care, choir and aerobics.
School Aerobics Team
Students from grades 4 – 6 have the opportunity to participate in our school aerobics team. Our school aerobics team is well supported and inspired by an amazing group of teachers, and we have celebrated a number of successful competition wins at State and National Levels over recent years. We celebrate their hard work and training throughout our school with special showcase performances at Open Nights and School Assemblies.
School Choir
Our Performing Arts teacher coordinates our school choir, which is a much-loved activity amongst many of our students. Our choir has the opportunity to perform at the local Peninsula Choral Festival, as a feature of many school-wide events and within our local community. In the odd year, starting 2021 we participate in the State School Spectacular Mass Choir.
