Parent & Carer Association
Parents are key partners in their child’s learning, and at Frankston Primary School, we encourage parents and carers to participate and be involved in their child’s schooling years. There are many ways in our school that parents are able to volunteer, both inside and outside the classroom. Some ways that parents and carers may be involved throughout our school include assisting in classroom activities, sporting events or special school events, in our school breakfast program or helping in the canteen.
Frankston Primary School Parents and Carers as Partners Association
Our Frankston Primary School Parents and Carers as Partners Association is also a wonderful way for our parents and carers to be involved and use their skills and expertise to work collaboratively with others, our students, and to contribute and build a sense of community in the support of Frankston Primary School.
The Parents and Carers Association is a friendly connection of dedicated parents and carers who enjoy volunteering their time to work together in partnership with the school for our students, school and school community.
The role of the Parents and Carers Association is threefold:
- To provide support, in various forms, for the school, our students and community, including raising funds for the benefit of the school
- To work in cooperation with the Principal, staff and school council in building effective partnerships between home and school
- To encourage diversity by getting to know the parents of other children at the school, and to support the operation of the school.
Please talk to us at the office about how you may like to be involved or become a member of our Parents and Carers Association.
